Nativo Tecuicanime Restaurant Marketing
Client
Nativo Tecuicanime is a family-owned-and-operated traditional Mexican restaurant. Its unique concept is that its main dishes change each week to highlight a different state of Mexico.
Challenge
Nativo has been successfully attracting customers that are already familiar with traditional Mexican cooking, but it wished to expand its reach to attract tourists who may not be as accustomed to the traditional fare AND increase its revenue during the morning hours.
Solution
After thoroughly understanding the business’ goals and needs through multiple meetings with the team, I created menus designed to pull in potential customers walking by on the street in addition to those already stepping in to enjoy. Each description keeps the final sale in mind by appealing to common taste preferences in addition to warmly educating those less experienced. These menus also take a “fusion” approach: blending traditional flavors with international trends and popular requests. Since implementing these menus, Nativo has seen a steady uptick in first-time customers. In addition, I am writing ongoing social media posts for further publicity.
